Ade wants to get paid!
TOTTENHAM striker Emmanuel Adebayor will miss the African Nations Cup after turning his back on Togo over a pay row.
Adebayor, 28, has gone on strike ahead of next month’s tournament in South Africa.
He ruled himself out amid claims Togo’s players went unpaid for last month’s friendly against Morocco. He is now available for selection by Spurs.

Chronic...............................Not sure why you & others view Ade as a money grabber. He actually gives 50% of his salary to charity back in Togo. He has funded the building of a hospital & schools.
I know ALL PL players are vastly overpaid, however he does seem to have a heart & a sense of responsibility towards those much less fortunate in his homeland!

It could also have something to do with almost being killed last time he went to the ACoN.
One thing's for sure- there'll be no NEW STRIKER in January.

Cannot judge Ade. You don't know what he'd do with that money. He is right to stand up for the principle when someone else is lining their pocket with money due to the team. I'd be the same, even if I did not need the money.
