Pompous, arrogant clown. He is one of the journalists who wrote the infantile badly researched articles he bangs on about. His monumental ego comes shining through in that article. He was a rubbish journalist and I cannot remember once reading an article of his that i didnt think was complete mince. Glad he has gone and he will not be missed.

Celtic fans can foam and froth at the mouth all they want. No matter his previous articles or his previous stances on other issues in the game whether he was right or wrong previously.

He was the ONLY journo in Scotland to call "the big wan" right. He was the only one to say let's wait for the result. He was the only one to question why they were also being investigated by SPL when they were declared in the SPL accounts. he was the only one to condemn people saying cheating. He was the only one to condemn the witchunt. He was the only one to not jump on the band wagon and have a kick and a laugh. He was the only one who was right - FACT!

For that I also salute you Mr Traynor - in journo terms you won the World cup when it mattered.

Certainly got more right than Spiers, or that ''world class war correspondent' Alex Thompson. I'll give him that.
