Best Celeb Supporters XI

Morning All,

No doubt been done before but in a idle moment I was trying to put together a Spurs Celeb Fans XI, built around my CB partnership of Chas and Dave (who of course mentioned the mighty Spurs and Hod in a few songs). I've got:

GK: Charles Bronson

RB: ? CB: Chas CB: Dave LB: Barry McGuigan

RM: CM: Phil Cornwell CM: Chris Eubank LM:

ATTACK: Peter Cook Paul Whitehouse

Whilst the attack looks a bit lightweight, especially as PC has been dead a while, I think we've got a pretty solid spine to the team.

Short of a few players though - RB and a couple of midfielders - any ideas?

Celebrity is used pretty loosely in that list

Bob Marley and Jerry Springer, I take that back

Feckin hell Junction, how am I going to choose a squad from that lot....

If I was really bored we could have various teams - Musicians, Comedians, Luvvies, Nutters, Deceased.... but sadly I have some work to do.....

Kenneth Branagh in as captain for his half-time speeches, inspiring the lads to win the game.

OK, I'm dropping the strike duo of Paul Whitehouse, on the basis of those rubbish TV ads, and Peter Cook on the basis of him being dead, replacing them with Bob Marley and Kenneth Branagh.

Now we're getting somewhere

Gideon Coe - BBC 6 Music presenter is a big Spurs fan. I think I heard somewhere one of the writers or producers on Coronation Street would sometimes drop subtle Spurs into the programme. (wish I could remember some but getting old)
