3) Repeat above until DJ goes

Are you reading MM? I thought the idea was progress?

Mega, I think the nub of your gist is definitely correct in the last paragraph.

MM is bound to be weighing up the cost of keeping him on i.e loss of ticket sales revenue, loss of Championship status related revenue, reduced income streams etc. against Dave's - likely/alleged - pay off for terminating his contract before term.

You don't need an MBA to work it out now do you?

Im sure he is.

In addition, Im sure that dismissing him will have crossed his mind. Is he keeping him on till he can either find a good leader/manager? reach a deal with his new found manager? or is he leaving it till midway through this season i.e. start of Jan? Or does he really believe that DJ has the ability to move us forward...albiet allowing him to spend in Jan? Who knows with Mandy but Im damn sure that Mandy wont allow us to get relegated at any cost, wether it be with a new manager and giving him his Jan kitty or sticking with DJ and unleashing him with a Jan kitty (god forbid with his record this season ), im pretty damn sure its the former!!

Your right regarding fans whom may/are staying away due to our poor form and inept management, it is/ will cost MM a hell of a lot if he decides to stick as im sure that if we stick then we WILL go down and fans will stay away, and MM will be hit very hard so Im convinced that MM will relive DJ soon if we dont win our next game, or even if we do win the brizzles but lose to the Dingles!

God knows what MM is thinking.

I can't for the life of me anticipate that MM will trust DJ with a January transfer kitty. Unless MM hasn't got a January transfer kitty ring fenced; in which case it wouldn't matter particularly as if DJ hasn't been shown the door by then at least he won't cause any further damage to this years player salary/transfer budget?

Hopefully this dire episode will be put to bed before we open our christmas presents.

If anyone cares for my opinion, I think MM is out looking for a buyer, not a manager. I think he wants out of swfc and doesnt want to spend anymore money than he already has done on us.

Just a a gut feeling

Good points about the bigger picture Poite, I agree.

Its important not to confuse wanting to sell us with not caring about us. He definately cares and wouldn't expect him to sell us to 'anyone'.

This clubs kinda like a nice car that you want to keep but know you have to sell. Knowing your going to sell it means you aint going to spend money doing it up. You'll leave that to the buyer.

Enitrely agree with that Poite. I'm not worried about MM or what his plans are to be honest, I think he will sell to a good buyer, unlike the Portsmouth fiasco; besides the spotlight is on football finances so he's unlikely to sell to an arms dealer is he? He got lucky with HMRC and Rosie's bank a/c so I doubt he's going to cut any corners again.

JONES OUT!!!!
