a win and europa league and a bit of pride
or
a loss/draw and no europe and focus entirely on league, fa cup

Take it as it comes really. I never want to see us lose so I'll settle for a draw but if we came back from a couple of goals behind I'd be urging us to win.

Line-up is amazing. Does Mancini really want to crack the Europa League? Ok, good attitude if he can.
Man City: Hart, Maicon, Kompany, Lescott, Nastasic, Barry, Javi Garcia, Nasri, Tevez, Sinclair, Dzeko. Subs: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Aguero, Nimely, Balotelli, Meppen-Walter, Evans.
Many firstteamers: Kompany, Lescott/Nas, Barry, Nasri, Tevez, in an away game which could count for nothing. Will Mancini play them also on the Sunday derby? Or will he play Aguero+Balotelli against Utd <shocking>. (Only that the tiring Yaya and Silva are left out)
Even City may win today but Madrid may lose and it's helpless. Dortmund line-up has 6-7 strange names but not weak. Fine if it happens that Mancini will let the team to go all out attack from the beginning, and in 2nd half, no matter winning or losing, will do 2-3 subs.
Preferred that the City's second team is used (Garcia, Balo+Dzeko, Suarez, ...), and losing or winning, then let it be.

The 1st requirement is if Ajax doesn't win. Real at home usually should beat Ajax, but this game plays no role for R.Madrid. And ironically, Mourinho is going to leave Madrid, and he personally does not want to help Mancini (er, a possible rival for his next managerial role?). It'll be 50-50 there. Dortmund game is not easy either (Even playing some youngsters and reserves, Dortmund strength is in its system (in opposite to City currently still with individuals)).
In sportsmanship, nice if City fight to the end, but the price could be high, the league derby's next.

cant see how playing on a Sunday for the rest of the season can help. Last year it didnt matter as the main rivals were also in the Europa and both teams went out early.
