Warnock has said that he has 3 possible targets in mind as he looks to bring in a new Striker in the New Year. Rumours have already started who they could be but who could Warnock have in mind?

Out of favour at Foxes and only on loan to Hudds, could he return home as rumours every season link him to us.

Only playing bit part at Stoke so could be tempted to get 1st team football. Like Beckford wages could be the issue.

Also on loan at Hudds, could be worth a gamble, was awesome for Reading when they went up.
M.Chamakh
-Rumoured to be a target on deadline day. Not in the Gunners team much so could add some pace to front line.
F.Campbell
- Linked with us recently but injury prone. Could be worth a gamble
M.Smith
- Becchio type player but holds the ball up better. We was linked with him at start of the season - would be a good addition if new owners have ambition.

I have always believed in getting someone who has not had time to get a big ego .Apart from Smith the others are not worth the money they want .
So what we I go for

John Guidetti 20 years of age scored 20 goals whilst out on loan last season in Holland generally rated the best striker Sweden have produced so lets have a buy out clause say for 2m City can afford it
Chris Woods loaned to Millwall young and having a great time at Millwall he must be ready to join a big club I would also buy his partner Chris Taylor
Hoskins I like at Brighton fast pacey and has an eye for goal
I am going to watch Eagles tomorrow I think that the boy has tremendous potential#]
Hamill has been a terrible disappointment to me .Looked a real prospect at Barnsley just shows howquickly things can change Bostock is another example of what can happen if you lose focus
Bent would want 70k not worth 7kthats the risk you take when you spend heavily on a proven striker!

I'd take a gamble on Beckford. He and Becchio could get the goals to take us up and with Macca playing just behind them I can see it working.

Bent is too good for us. People who think we'd get him are dreaming, unless we have some SERIOUS money.
Beckford is a decent shout.
Mackie from QPR would be my target.

Charlie Austin. Would of been a great buy in the summer but after his goals so far I doubt we'd be able to afford him
