James Traynor

I see he has been appointed Director of Communications at Ibrox from early next year. No surprise why his last article was the way it was then.

Don't know what you're on about, castle. Nor do I care. Traynor is STILL a shambles.

Says a lot about the state of The Record when their top man jumps ship to a football club on its uppers.

Jim, like the rest of the muppet media in Scotland are wind up merchants, very little interest in football but love the 'scandal'. It sells!!

Best of luck to the man, Gordon Smith was seduced by the lure of the marble staircase as well.....

As I've said before no matter what he got wrong in the past. He called the "big wan" right when it mattered.

Phil and rangers tax case were all wrong. Yet you lot listened to their p@sh.

Will can you tell me what Traynor said that was wrong exactly?

He was the only journo in Scotland to not jump on the bandwagon. He was the only one to say let's wait for the tax case result. he was the only one to mention EBT's were listed to the SPL.

The guy was the only journo who was right - FACT.

He called all the other journalists for what they were ie wrong.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe HMRC didn't appeal the FTTT decision on your planet but they did on this one, so let's leave the triumphalism about who called what right until the case is disposed of, finally.

As for Traynor, he was one of the succulent lambs, one of a coterie of scottish sports 'journalists' who were bedazzled and hypnotised by Murray and who at no point ever adopted anything approaching an objective, far less a critical perspective towards him

As the FTTT minority report showed, Murray had and still has a case to answer re the way Rangers deployed those EBTs. By using them, he put Rangers in mortal danger, but had his back covered at all times by the lambs. The only place you could read anything about the reality of what was going on at Ibrox and the implications of it all was the internet and those sites that you mention.

But good to see Airdrie (what is it with him and dead clubs) 'fan' Jabba having his true colours confirmed publicly.
