is the FA and the City of Manchester.
Get used to it guys, this is the new reality. These games will only get bigger.
720 million viewers watched the derby yesterday.
Can you put any commercial value on that?
Imagine the viewership if we are 3 points behind/ahead going into the April derby?

Tevez was right about Manchester, no restaurants at all it seems. Explains why so many people are biting on here.

I never understood that criticism of Manchester, there's loads of nice places to eat.

Just one of our many secrets BB - just need to know where to look - it's only a matter of looking more than 2 or 3 miles out from the city centre

720 million watched the match did they? So 10% of the planet was watching our game? Rubbish. That figure is the number of people who were able to watch the game not the number of people that turned in. Are you telling me that government institutions all of the world have stopped what they were doing and had a massive national survey of TV viewing figures just to report them to our Football Association and all of this happened in the last 18 hours or so? Is that was you think happened?

Even if it's just how many people could watch the game it's still pretty impressive.
One actual figure is over a million watched live on US ESPN, not including the additional people watching on streams in the US and highlight packages too.
In fact the potential for the rivalry is one of the reasons I always laugh at people that suggest that the Sheikh and his advisors picked City out of hat.
Even a simpleton can see the commercial possibilities for the derby as City progress.
And yes, it is largely thanks to united already being a massive and successful club x
