Don't get me started.

We have rising unemployment, cost of living spiraling out of control, and wages stagnating or reducing. With all that, what do our elected officials care about? A bloody flag flying outside Belfast City Hall.

It has got to the point where I am ashamed to admit I am from NI.

I don;t think that the vote on removing the flag has any bearing on the politicians level of dedication in helping the economy.

Its also interesting that the politicians raise your ire rather than the thugs on the streets.

Loyal to the crown, and they'll take on HM's police, army, courts and prisons to prove it. Absolutely barking.

The rioting came at the perfect time, people were afraid to be near City Hall at night time, great for the missus and I having our annual visit to the Christmas market the following night.



As for the issue of the flag, I have a few UVF/UDA guys as friends on Facebook and some of the posts/conversations since has been crazy!

Well, it was a pointless vote by the council when the majority of people either wanted the flag to fly or didn't care. I just think there are better ways for the council, or Stormont for that matter, to spend their time.

What kind of moron is offended by a flag anyway?

I am a Catholic Nationalist by the way.
