Pratts, Whitts & Maynard

Evening fellow reds,

I'm not claiming to be an 'insider' or have seen any of the above in any watering hole in notts, or seen them grabbing a kebab @ kishmet it's more of a disgruntled moan fed up with marthas spin tactics and lack of backing for such a wonderfully supported club.

This man can't keep running our club into the ground, i feel sorry for SMC for the lack of ambition once again. No matter how much we look on the brightside no '20 goal' striker resides at our club, the squad is amongst the smallest in the division and we're still fed spin or delusions of grandure from the heirachy with no, which i find unreal, any sign of a LB on the horizon.

The players we let go at this moment of time i'd have 50% of them back, because come mid december we could be looking at a back 4 consisting of Larry Lloyd on an emergency loan from the local boozer...

Any suggestions welcome for a sign of intent at many of our frustrations towards martha for the spin, the broken promises and the silence which resides over the CG during summer time until a week before ST renewals...
For the record i realise our chairman isn't the richest, i appreciate he's a fan but the blindness towards martha and the many many managerial mishaps coupled with destrenthening our squad isn't making him the top of many of our xmas card lists.

We've been having a joke in our office that he who turns up with his boots as well as his season ticket might just get a game. The squad is scarily thin and no amount of spin can fill the void - only signings can do that. I'm fed up with hearing how difficult it is to sign players. They make it sound like searching for and signing new players is like searching for the Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider for God's sake! It's an insult to our intelligence that we are fed that bull that getting players is SO hard. They are in the football business, have contacts, know agents, know who is out there, what things cost. Get on do business. Don't dither, dilly-dally. I really do wish that Mark Arthur would stop the charade, the excuse, the explanation of why signing players is difficult. There is plenty of evidence around the league to the contrary, in terms of sheer numbers of players going to new clubs.

It just puts into perspective what a fantastic job BD was doing, considering our bare bone squad last season! Having no recognised LB is laughable and we've signed 3 midfielders, a position which I felt was last in our list in priorities! Dont get me wrong we've made some good additions, but jebas I think at this stage every possible effort should be made to get a good quality LB, not just one to appease the fans, the other positions can follow suit!!

Lots of rumours flying around at the moment does anyone feel that any of them will materialize? Not sure we will get those we are linked with we seem only to be able to sign ex borough lol

Good artilce, mirrors my disgust and contempt towards them too.

Only thing I will add is that I'd add ND's name to the list. Any person with even the slightest hint of intelligence knows how woeful Marthur is, and has been for us.

The shocking thing is that ND has totally, un-wavering belief in Marthur to run his play-thing for him. If any single thing shows up ND for being completely out of his depth as a football club chairman, it's employing Marthur as his CEO.

Scarily, that actually means ND thinks Marthur is doing a good job. That is an appallingly worrying, complete lack of judgement on ND's behalf.

So many managers have come and go under ND's ownership, yet somehow Marthur is still employed as CEO. Anyone with the smallest brain cell can see both ND and Marthur are every bit as guilty as any of the managers who have left , yet they remain , inexplicably, still in charge

as many have suggested, if i performed similar to martha in my job i would be long gone...

i really want to like ND, i understand no multi billionaires are exactly knocking our door down and i appreciate hes a fan and has a small amount of cash to run a football club with ambitions of the prem but MA is making him look even worse each season...
