I agree with you. Insua looked a class apart in the reserves and did a great job when he got his first chances. However the following season he was forced into becoming a first team regular and whilst a lot of players suffered, he struggled.

Saying that, he hasn't exactly set the world alight in Turkey and has been on the bench for most of his time there. It would be silly not to have a look at him for a couple of months then make a decision on him but with Robinson coming through and the obvious courting of various left-backs, I doubt there is going to be much chance for him.

I liked Insua and thought he was vastly underated by a lot of fans. In Turkey they had a change of manager who doesn't like playing loan players. Having said all that I can see him being sold.

Totally agree.

He was really shaky at first, but during his last few months he seemed to have really knuckled down and his game was improving week by week.

He must be worth another look.
