Walcott to United?

True but IMO that's down to SAF. I am just saying what would we have done with same manager without that much taken out the club, that's all.
Back on topic, would we go for a Walcott winding his contract down on the cheap (If indeed we are) or would we be going for a Rodriguez ?? Would we have got Schneider and agreed to his wage demands ?? Modric ??
Moura ?? I don't know, none of us do obviously.

I don't think Rooney has played in midfield all season,

Rooney pretty much plays in midfield for us making ours a 4-2-3-1.

make up your mind fella.
as regards to the original post... Walcott for Nani swap depresses me greatly.
Walcott is just not gonna improve us in anyway shape or form.... take away his pace and he's useless... the fact that most Arsenal fans would snap our hands off for the move tells its own story

Firstly, props to you for going way back into another conversation to find that quote
Secondly, if you scrolled further down you would have seen Macca going to great lengths to prove that Rooney had played in midfield and something that I accepted and said I was wrong.

Shuggsy, I was playing too! Hence the 'props' thing.
It's really hard to get tone across on here!
