I'm one of Wenger's biggest fans and always have been, he's a brilliant manager and a club legend. No-one else could have done what he's done for Arsenal and deserves the respect of everyone who calls them self an Arsenal fan. However tonight was inexcusable.
I can see the argument that financial backing has severely hindered Wenger over the last few years and that's why other clubs have caught up with us. However it's not the rich clubs that are the problem, it's the Swanseas and the Norwichs that are troubling us and tonight it was a step further and it was Bradford. I don't want to hear anything about finances because we've had inexcusable losses against teams with far more financial constraints than us this season. For instance tonight on the pitch we had:
Podolski - 100 cap German international
Cazorla - established Spanish international
Wilshere - brightest talent in England
Gervinho - cost Wenger £12m
Vermaelen - widely regarded as one of the best centre backs in the premiership
Mertesacker - very experienced German international
Now here is where my problem lies, with those players on the pitch why are we not beating Bradford? Or Swansea? Or Norwich? Those players are top, top class players who should be laying 6,7,8 goals on the likes of Bradford who were changing out of their boiler suits and into their football kits before the game (no disrespect they played excellently and deserved to win).
When your team doesn't have the confidence to run at the Bradford defence then you have problems, when someone of Podolski's quality is completely anonymous then you know you haven't set your team out right. When someone like Ramsey plays absolutely appallingly every week you do not persist with putting him on the right wing hoping he'll morph into a Welsh Jesus Navas overnight. Arsenal haven't got a playing style right now, it's absolute garbage. Scrappy play with no real rhythm, flow or shape. Now you tell me Ferguson, or Mourihno or even David Moyes would have lost some of the games we have this season with those players... Because they wouldn't have.
Wenger has done miraculously keeping us in the CL all these years on such a tight budget but when it comes down to the actual business of managing a team and not Arsenal PLC, I don't have a great deal of faith in him anymore.
Wenger and the players.

Great post mate.
Wilshere average player , overhyped because he is English .
He has a great engine a decent passer and is very agressive . He IMO showed his agressive side and engine tonight and your fans have him as your MOTM .
Thats all IMO he has to offer and there is a huge differance between what Wilshere has and a really huge talent.

We have reached point where club is in urgent need of
invigoration.
That starts with new manager who can change what has
been going on at club for some time.

Completely disagree. Wilshere's a special player. As well as his fighting qualities, he's a fabulous one-touch passer, great spatial awareness, excellent technique and vision and, if he can re-find the form he had in his youth career, could be a good finisher too. It's very hard and it takes time to regain your form when you've spent about one and a half seasons out, more so in the case of such a young player, but he's got the toolbox to do so providing his head's in the right place.
I'm a Madrid fan with no pro- or anti-Arsenal bias btw.
