Villa will be a tough game

I know all too well that expectations rise after a good win. It may become a draw which wouldn't be ideal.

I think it will be our easiest game of the season. 4-1 win without getting into top gear.

to me this has draw written all over it, hope i am wrong though.

This Villa team are woeful. Too many young kids are arent good enough and may never be.

i meant more in the sense we wont take our chances.

Under Lambert, Villa will come to Anfield with all guns blazing. I don't buy into the 'woeful' tag at all. No single team is striding ahead this season; anything can happen. We've had too many false dawns before. Just look at how the team, under Kenny, virtually capitulated in the second half of last season. There is still a fragility amongst the squad. I accept, with confidence improving, the team is getting stronger, but we are still a long way from home. Sorry if I appear a bit negative, but that's my take on the situation. jimmyTheRed

There is nothing wrong with confidence, but we shouldn't take a win for granted. Villa scored 4 last night in the league cup.

We have a fantastic opportunity to extend our winning run to 4 with Fulham and Villa at home.

Of course, we can't take it for granted but we should win both of these games. We won't have a better chance of putting pressure on the Top 6 teams and we really should seize it.

I expect a very tough game if we don't score in the first half hour.
