Wenger Says

That it's not embarrassing to have lost to Bradford City.
Personally, I am embarrassed.

* Embarrassed a Club the size of Arsenal continues to lose its best players every year
* Embarrassed that Arsenal lost to a League 2 outfit
* Embarrassed that the players didn't show up for the first half
* Embarrassed that Gervinho plays for Arsenal
* Embarrassed that Ramsey plays for Arsenal
* Embarrassed that a manager lauded as a genius has zero tactical awareness
- We can pick the first 11 for almost every game with 90% accuracy
- We can pick who will come off, and for who, again, with a staggering amount of accuracy
* Embarrassed by Wenger continually "keeping faith" in overpaid, underperforming dross
* Embarrassed by Wenger saying the fans shouldn't be embarrassed

I've always, always been a Wenger supporter, but to be quite honest, he's a joke now.

Form since November: LDDWWDDLLWL - 3 wins in 11. If they were all league games, that would be 13 points from a possible 33 - that's marginally better than relegation material! Of those wins, one was against 10-man Spurs, the another was only thanks to 2 dodgy penalty decisions against WBA.

I realise that despite this, Arsenal are (by some miracle) just 2 points off the Top4. Despite this, and irrespective of where Arsenal finish the season, Wenger should go. He won't change his methods, he has had plenty of opportunity to learn tactics, to play players in the right positions, to buy players who fit in his "system." Even with the squad that Arsenal have right now, they're woefully underperforming. Wenger has until the end of the season, and unless he performs an absolute miracle to change my mind, I want him gone.

I think it's time Wenger kept his mouth shut if his going to make comments that are an embarasment to Arsenal supporters

Wenger hasn't got a clue what the fans think. Him, and the whole senior management/board at Arsenal are way out of touch.

chris h, i have noticed this a lot in recent times. especially when Wenger gets angry at interviewers, you get a real sense of his entitlement of his position and how he thinks only a very small minority of fans see him in a bad light.

*also the same attitude runs with the board members, that everything they touch turns to gold and they are above criticism, and can treat fans not as supporters of a football club with vested emotional interest and passion but as paying customers of a franchise\brand.

PHW "Thank you for taking an interest in our affairs"

Says it all really.

The more I think about it, the more this summer is the time for Wenger to go. There's no major international tournaments, so a new manager would have all summer to buy and sell, and a full pre-season with all the players to get to grips with the club.

Wait for the summer after and there's the World Cup, so his chances would be highly limited.

how about January to start the New Year afresh, if whoever we appoint gets us relegated lets just remove them at the end of the season. for god sake as Gooners need some excitement
