Enrique has been a real threat in the wide forward position. Shelvey I'd choose over Allen at the moment because of being more attacking but I do feel Allen will play. Apart from that, everywhere else is the same. It won't b easy!

I don't know why Assaidi has'nt really had a good run in the team, every time I've seen him he's been good. Quick, direct and skillful!

I'd go with Shelvey over Allen after his really good performance on Sunday!

Don't see the hype of Assaidi. Good squad player but looks like he lacks the killer instinct and end product. Although this is one game i would consider starting him. Villa are going to be well organised and stubborn so good movement and pace will be essential. If we score early on i expect us to win.

Have to agree. Assaidi looks a decent player but nothing special. He is much more direct which makes me think in our current system he is a perfect sub when we need to change things late to get a goal but what puzzles, he's never brought in. It's a strange one.

Sahin and Gerrard, rest Allen.

Looks like Enrique is a doubt with a hamstring injury.

I would also rest Gerrard and Allen for this, let Shelvey loose.
