No maer how you want to wrap it up and cover over the cracks,,you will find out i am right,,however as in life it does take time for some people to catch up and see things how they really are,,so it will hit you one day Hen face..,,and you will see its all due to lack of quallity in the squad...

We have a poor defence, and poor CM, debataly the 2 most important areas of the team, but of course if we had more desire, work ethic etc. we would not have conceded as many late goals and not have as few points as we do. No need to tell me to wake up, i said last season we would go down at the start of the season, I know exactly the position our team is in, and we keep trying to strengthen the areas of the squad that need the least reinforcements. This season as well I have stated all season that we wont go up, and I havent changed my mind.

I said we would finish anywhere from 8th - 14th and I hold onto that.

Not really sure what you mean by your post to be honest, I said that the team needs a better work ethic and desire, that reflects badly on the mentality of the players we have, and I also stated about improving our defensive areas and CM.

Dont want to get into an argument but what have I said that makes you think I need to 'wake up'?

Our squad is poor - end of, but with a better work ethic, we would do better, surely that makes sense?

Just because I think that with a better squad we could push on for promotion does not mean I think we have a good enough squad now.

I'm not sure our defence is that poor. No idea why Givet doesn't start every game, would be surprised if there's a centre back as good as him in the league. Midfield is the biggest problem as far as I'm concerned, give the ball away constantly which heaps pressure on the defence. Also have no creativity in there.

Having said that, there is no doubt in my mind that a manager like Allardyce would find a way to get results out of our current squad.

Your not sure our defence is that poor..,,well lets start on that one with,,"When was our last clean sheet".?,i honestly feel that untill we stop playing Dann these individual errors will not stop,,these free headers from corners that we give every game will not stp untill we give Dann a rest,,absoloutly amazed that he was made captain at Blackpool,,now that for me sums the Staff and manager at BRFC at present,,i also agree that managers like Allardyce and Hughes wouldget some clean sheets out of this lot maybe they would need to get one decent central defender in,,but would the Ewood park crowd put up with there backs to thewall defensive play,,no i doubt it and you would soon be hearing,,not coming next season if this guy is still in charge,,and that is what was said around me when Allardyce was running the how,,f e ck i n g kn ob heads,,and i am telling the truth here.

i mean i don't think our defence is that bad in terms of personnel. clearly there are issues with how they are being organised.

It might just be that we need a wholesale clearout or 10 new players ,the keeper is ok.This never ending misery is just going from bad to worse!

I cant put my hand on this one to be honest,is Robo lackibng in confidence because of what is in front of him,,or is it the other way round and that the defence as no confidence in Robo at all,,Robo cant be good for any central defender in front of him as he does not command the area ,and basically just stands on his line,and now that he isnt stopping those long range shots either, what use is he,?, the basic needs for any goodteam is a good backbone,,meaning Keeper,a strong Central defender and a good striker for me we only have one player who fits that bill and he needs better service than he is getting,so yes sadly i do have to agree with you about an wholesale clear out,maybe be keep about 8 of those players but they would be making up a squad not first team players.this misery will not end untill these owners have took the money,say another 2years or so,and misery is the word,,lets just hope that Berg knows better than i do and he can shape these players into a team,but end of Jan will tell wether or not he is up to the mark or not.

I think that the worst has yet to come!This Championship is a so /so league with no outstanding teams .this is for us a remminder of what we lost with Venkys,I think we are in freefall.January is for us the time to try and build for next season.

the club stated that when we signed Rhodes it was a financial gamble that would only pay off if we got promoted (due to the increased Premiership money next season)...

not sure what the real implications are if we don't get promoted, but I could guess.

Its not looking bright for us!I wish we could get out of this mess but its wishful thinking on my part.In less than 3 seasons weve sold almost a complete team for god knows how much?When I look at the wasted money on certain players its almost criminal what Venkys have done to our club.
