I had a bad feeling about this......

Villa are an improving team, they lack quality but they are capable of moments of quality.

We on the other hand will dominate all games but cannot score for nothing. 4-3-3 formation involves wide frwds helping the striker to score, sterling is too young to be relied upon, downing is sheeet, Enrique when plying us a stop gap and joe cole is past it. We then have assaidi but its that 1st season syndrome where he needs to bed in, suso is better in AMF so really we have no Scorers helpin suarez when he not scoring.

Compare to Brendon's Swansea, dyer n Sinclair chipped in with their fair share of goals from wide supporting graham. We also need midfielders to score and if you compare to barca, you have iniesta and xavi getting goals here and there.

This ain't a negative article, unless we address the scoring from our wide forwards and then midfielders then we will be losing a lot more games. Walcott, sturridge and ince have been linked, all of them are actually better than what we have at the moment so they will improve the team.

Credit and well done to villa, lambert is a great manager and once he has been given a year or two, am sure villa will be in the top 6 mix.

Lambert is a good manager. We were lucky to play Villa early season!

He has used Villas youth setup and stamped his Mark on the side. He did the same at Norwich.

unlike many posters who took a win for granted. i was very wary about this game.

At least we got a reality check. Some old fashioned hard work is required. we really need a good transfer window to give a club a big boost for the second half of the season.

Ah we'll, if we won, some of us would have been thinking about the league!

Anyway, it's work in progress, let's hope we get some proper wide frwds
