Omar Al Hasawi has today stepped down from his role as Nottingham Forest Chairman due to personal reasons.
Majority shareholder Fawaz Al Hasawi is to become the new Chairman of The Reds.
Fawaz said: “I would like to thank my cousin Omar for all the hard work he has put in since I took over the Club in the summer.
“I’m looking forward to taking over as Chairman and intend to spend even more time at the Club. I’m sure we will continue to go from strength to strength."

might not be true, but has just as much evidence as saying we've ran out of pennys.

I think it is true.
It says there's no suggestion the owners have money troubles. It's embarrassing more than anything and its cost Omar his job and Fawaz as had to come in and sort it out. He's gone on a bit of a charm offensive on twitter to reassure people.
Personally I think Fawaz being more involved can only be a good thing.
