The underachieving Oscar braces an average group with what I expect to be more disappointment from him. He has the ability to qualify from this group and the team isn’t among the worst in there, but I feel he will flop unfortunately for him. Prove me wrong.

The gift I would get him for Christmas: A mouse mat

RoryT returns with a brilliant draw to boot. Rory can really make a mark for himself in this tournament and I think he will. I am even going as far as to tip Rory to win this thing as I know he is a good player with a good team, don’t make me look foolish RoryT.

Hengy

Team: Najaran

Odds: 16 – 1

The gift I would get him for Christmas: A trip to North Wales

Poor old Hengy, looking for a pick-up after a bittersweet tournament last time, but he won’t get it here unfortunately. No idea why EA included the Saudi league and Hengy has copped for it being handed these no-hopers, any kind of point will be a celebration.

Frankie

Team: W. Krakow

Odds: 12 – 1

The gift I would get him for Christmas: Frank Lampard’s dieting book

Frankie has a slight chance of getting out of this group, but will need to up his game with this poor team he has been handed. If Frankie has at least challenged for second spot then it should be considered a tournament success, due to the team he has.

Team: UCD AFC

Odds: 6 – 1

The gift I would get him for Christmas: Runescape membership

Normally anybody who has been drawn a no-hoper Irish League team in a tournament like this would be written off right? Will not Voom, I aint writing him off. He is an elite player and I think he will get out of this group and possibly even make it as far as the semis with a team like this would be a remarkable achievement, but he is more than capable.
