Hello fellow ja 606's! My question to you all is would you prefer to finish 4th and win no trophy or finish outside the top 4 and win the FA cup or even league cup?
Please discuss.
Admins would you please multi board?
Thanks

Dropping out of the top four would be such an excuse not to spend as much as we do now. We have to get CL football. Plus, I like mid week football, it's so boring otherwise.

No octogenarian will sit their great grandkids on their knee, and with tears welling up, recall that wonderful year we finished 4th.
Trophies are what you play for.

Well if I reach 80 I won't be telling my Grandchildren about the season we won the FA Cup in 2012. We have far better tales to tell, and I would rather have a long term basis for success than one FA Cup and a period of mid table mediocrity.

Exactly - many modern football fans are thinking just like owners £££££££
Bill Shankly once said...
Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques
Trophies are what's important - at least for the big clubs anyway
