.........now I am all for retaining proven players for as long as possible. but, long term signing of 5 young unproven players on very comfortable wages, merely gives them an excuse not to improve. if these guys dont improve, they will be very difficult to shift in future and they will be great additionns to the (surplus and expanding) talent pool of Diaby, Bendtner, Frimp, Denilson, Chamukh, Santos, Squil, Asharvin, Rosickboy, Djourou, 3 nameless goalkepers.
