...We have "back-up players" like squilacci and djourou etc that never get any game time and don't even play in the Carling Cup so that we can rest our first team players ? We could have just played youngsters yet our first team is getting tired for nothing. Our squad is so thin it's a disgrace. Squillaci and Djourou must be on good wages, they should have their contracts torn up and put their wages towards players like walcott and blooding through the young reserves.
This really gets on my nerves !
Can someone tell me why

Oh and I would much rather have ryo etc if you're not going to play arshavin at all.

Ryo is nowhere near ready, and judging by his loan stint, a crocked player in the mold of Rosicky.

I didn't say that he was ready nor is Miquel for that matter. But surely it's better than having unused players taking up huge wages ? Just training with the first team and being involved all year would be of more benefit to us and the players

Until we play those players and we lose, in which point fans will say we don't have the strength and we need experience (i'm referring to Arshavin going).
The young players need to work alongside the experienced players, instead of being their replacements. That is how they'll learn their trade more efficiently.
Btw, i think Miquel is ready. Everytime i've seen him this season, he's looked quality. For me, he's certainly ahead of Squish and Djourou in the pecking order.

The likes of Squilacci have basically been disasters!
For example, Chamakh 50/60k pw, Arshavin 90k, Squilacci 50k... These were all international players who for whatever reason just could not (or don't anymore) cut the mustard in the Prem. As stubborn as Wenger is, he's had to realise that these players being involved in the first team is damaging, hence they've been black-balled.
The amazing thing is their wages, in terms of their benefit to the club, they shouldn't be on a quarter of that money. And funnily enough, no teams want to buy them, or at least pay their wages (why would they). These players have even turned down moves, prefering to turn up for training, not play and competetive football and pick up huge wages every week.

Miquel is pants imo and nothing to rave about.

Stopzilla Sunzu will solve all our issues in defence.

The youngsters who are close to the first team were almost all injured. Gnabry, Yennaris, Miquel were all out.
Oh, and Boss, we get it. you hate young Arsenal players. you are boring with your repetitive moans.

There is arguably nothing that can be done about the wages of these players (because they were internationals when they were acquired)
but the overall wage structure is a shambles anyway, the sooner it gets sorted out, the better.
