First of all, I'd like to wish each and every Derby fan on this board a very enjoyable and, of course merry Christmas. Anybody doing anything nice?
This wish of good tidings is also extended to our brothers (and sisters) at the wrong end of the A52, hoping that 2013 brings you all the luck your "money" should be buying you although we all know your 14 mile-long voyage to The Pride Fortress (quite a good name for a LGBT bar) is going to end in even more disaster and shame! Here's hoping anyway
But back to the original purpose of this article. While at work on Monday, we got discussing our favourite pundits to have appeared on Radio Derby's coverage of games. I quite liked Studger, and Rowett used to speak a lot of sense. I currently feel Roger Davies does a mediocre job, while a colleague felt that while he was a talented footballer, his commentary leaves plenty to be desired. So my first question is who have your favourites to appear been?
My second question stems from the rest of my conversation at work. I remember Graham Richards claiming in a game that somebody "went down like the Twin Towers" after an innocuous challenge, while a colleague said that shortly after the terrible affair involving Gary Speed, Roger Davies claimed a defender had "committed suicide" after a hospital pass.
My question is this: any other commentary faux-pas?
