If Nzogbia was scottish

would he be a liverpool player by now? and if adam was french, would he have moved to Liverpool?

I cant express how bad i think we have missed out on Nzogbia , if Suarez gets injured .. we're finished - wheres the creativity going to come from? in all honestly, the way we have perfomed this transfer market make us a glorified version of stoke city.

It's like Torres all over again but slightly different. Torres had the burden of scoring for us. The burden of making something in the game will be down to suarez and thats a heavy burden to carry. I think that was partly the reason Torres suffered in form when he was at Liverpool.

i also cant help but think that Dalglish took into consideration that adam is a fellow scot when signing him. which is unfair on the club if that influenced his judgement even if it was just slightly. However i still think adam is a good player and a decent signing.

what do you make of my foughts

Charlie McZogbia's a cracking wee player.

I think that King Kenny had it in mind when he signed Adam, Henderson and Downing that if Suarez did not play for every game they would be the providers to the strikers...and before you say! if you have a look at all three of their stats last season they would give plenty of service..........Done

I know N'Zogbia is a good player but his history with Andy Carroll is enough to scupper a deal. Some peoplle blame Carroll for the incident, but he's our player now not N'Zogbia.

Of we for another player it would be Mata or Turan for me.

I'm saying that it is unfair on the club because there could have been more appropriate players that would be better suited to our club

I.E we are over crowded in midfield and N'zogbia would have been a more beneficial purchase than Adam even tho Adam is still a decent player

Also, the nationality of a player shouldn't be a factor when exploring the possibility of signing them

The additions of Adam, Downing and Henderson will add to the creativity to the squad. Suarez and Gerrard are also creative players.

I liked the idea of N'Zogbia too, not because he was that much better than Downing, but because of the price tag. however, on paper anyway, Downing's strengths (his passing and his delivery form wide areas) probably made him the more attractive than the excellent dribbling skills of the temperamental Frenchman.

As for the nationality of the players, I think kenny sensibly realises that a British core of players will enable a good team spirit to be formed and where he feels his motivational and man management skills will best come to the fore. Our bitterest rivals have had a core of British players under Ferguson and it certainly hasn't done them any harm.

I'm just waiting for Dalglish to put in a bid for me. I'm English and pretty rubbish at football, so i'm expecting him to offer Blackley Town FC £20 Million for my services. Come on Kenny lad.

And if Carroll wasn`t English and say Algerian would he have spent 35m on him
