Surely with the sale of Sturridge, the continued loan of Lukaku and Torres' form, Chelsea have to buy in January.

However it seems Abramovich is adamant that Torres needs to be the main man or has done so far. This would mean whoever he wants has to play second fiddle to Torres, if that is the case then can they realistically get Falcao?

Or has Abramovich completely changed his tune, I remember reading Di Matteo went to him in the summer with Falcao top of his list but Abramovich said no because he wanted players who could supply for Torres.

I won't be surprised if Sturridge is reold to us for 50m after 3 yrs, we lack foresight
