Spent Christmas Eve in mi mate's pool, quaffing some nices Shiraz! 39C today, might just top up mi tan!

I'll not be celebrating xmas, due to it being the day that my dad died 14 years ago.....

But hope you guys enjoy your selves...I'll be putting the usual brave face on all day for the family.....Bring on Blackpool....

Not a good day to lose a parent, thank god I still have both of mine.

Spent the last 8 out of 10 Xmas's in the Canaries, its a million times better to spend Xmas in the sun near a beach.....Usually listening to Town getting beaten by some tripe like Southampton, Peterbrough or somebody.....

Xmas day with the sisters & their kinder, at Bulls Head, Linthwaite today....

Xmas pressies today were Town home shirt, Town book of best 100 players in last 100 years, & a town door mat.....Not sure where to put the latter.......

I lost both my parents by the age of 19, so Christmas has never quite been the same since. However, I have my wife and brother, they are my immediate family.

The Bulls Head is a fine pub, plenty of character and fine ales!

Aye, my Dad died 10 weeks ago..at the ripe old age of 92...so this was my first Xmas in my 61 years without him. Grandkids give you little time to reflect though...life goes on doesn't it..
