The pack chellenging for 4th on 30 points at the moment from and including Chelsea in 3rd to 7th placed WBA?
The then best of the rest pushing for a top 6/9 place in the hope of Europa League should the domestic cups be won by a league qualifier in 8th placed Liverpool on 25 points through to 12th placed West Ham on 23 points.
And from 13th to 18th battling it out for survival and as high up the table finish as possible for extra revenue? with 3 of 7 teams all possible to go down?
Who knows but so far its sure been exciting.

I agree with Good Flower - watch out for Rafa's Chelsea side.
I think they'll be right in the mix by end of Feb.

It's taken shape but it doesn't give an indication as to where we will stand come may. Lets not forget that Everton were 12th at this point last season and finished 7th. We were 5th at this point. So we can still jump 3/4 places, which seeing as we're 8th, won't be too far off where we want to be

I'm not so sure on the two horse race take. ManU were bad, Chelsea, especially under Rafa, will rise. ManC? Difficult call, Arsenal too. By his signings, Brendan, trying to keep his predictions in check, and failing, still sees us as a top 4 club. Luis' interview with the Express nails his colours to the mast. The team still look and play in, at times, a fragile manner, but, anything can happen. Too hard to call, top or bottom. jimmyTheRed

I'd say no. Last season under Kenny we were 5th a couple of points of 5th and then from January to end of season we finished 8th. A lot can happen in a few games.
