Im sitting here at work and found this article online, which is an interesting read. This is the The Guardians take on the top 100 players in the world. The ranking is explained below:
'Welcome to the Guardian's choice of the world's top 100 footballers. We asked our 11-strong international panel of experts to name their top 30 players in action today and rank them in order of preference. Once the lists were submitted, the players were scored on their ranking by each panellist: a No1 choice allocated 30pts, No2 29pts and so on down to selection No30, given one point. In a four-part series online and in print we will reveal the results'
Players of note include Messi and Ronaldo at 1 and 2, rather predictably, Rooney at 31, Bale at 40, and Dembele at 91. Former Spur Modric rocks in at 80 and rumoured transfer targets Eriksen (74), Villa (62), Moutinho (76) and Willian at 26.
Shocked to see Gomes not make the list to be frank, not forgetting the WORLD CLASS Jenkinson!
Any one you think has been left off the list worthy of inclusion? Any debate over Messi being number 1?

No debate over Messi at all....,
...apart from the one about him being the best ever. Too young to remember maradona in his prime so I'd have to say messi is the best I've ever seen.

Lloris should be on the list IMO...
In addition how the hell is Balotelli a better footballer than Lewandowski... rubbish!!!
