Bury Away

So who's going? A nice opportunity to play one of the local derbies we rarely get to see even if it is only a friendly.

Never been to Gigg Lane before anyone know the best way to get there, and know of any good pubs near the ground?

I'll be there. 524 bus from Moor Lane, takes about half an hour, but they are only every half an hour after 7pm. £4.20 for a FirstDay ticket. Drops you practically outside the ground.

Not me...

But I am at Nantwich Town.

Pretty entertaining stuff.

Topi looks mustard, Vela and Connoly bossing the midfield.

Number 10. Not sure who you are, and you're so poor I can't be bothered to find out...if you EVER don a first team shirt, I will seriously consider supporting Grimsby.

This might help Gothic:

Being a Manc I'm getting the Metrolink tram which is usually free unless you get rumbled.

I know the Staff of Life pub so I'm heading there.

According to the guide, their toilets are minging, so if you have the trots, it may be an idea to bring your own paperwork

Gothic - yes the main bus station on Moor Lane. I didn't say 'the bus station' in case you thought I meant the one next to the train station on Trinity Street. 524 goes from Stand E up until 6pm I think, but there will be loads of places you can check. There's bound to be other Wanderers fans waiting for it and getting off at the ground, it's the main bus route between Bury and Bolton.

About to pack up work and head from Temple Bar tram stop in Old Trafford to the match.

Should be plenty of time for a couple scoops

Should be fun, good chance to see Pratley as well as I havent seen him at all yet. Hopefully get to see some of the reserves/youth players too. How many do you think we'll be taking? Cant see it being much as is only a friendly but it is a derby.

I don't know about numbers Gothic or even if we will be given the usual Cemetary End to ourselves.

I'm just turning up on spec with a fellow Walkden White and see what happens.

Enjoy!
