Giggsy the legend !!

Yes we got out of jail today. When you see the teamsheet with Scholes and Giggs you do worry though. However Giggsy looked lively when he came on against Swansea and today I thought he was good. Gave us balance on the left and tried hard and delivered a couple of great crosses. He CAN still play wide and quite simply he really is an amazing footballer. So message is Sir Ryan quite simply a legend and please Sir Alex don't play him central midfield, on the left if he is required fair enough.

I am defending him from idiots who know very little about football. There were players much worse than Giggsy today, similarly saturday.
Tell me why you think SAF, the greatest manager of all time still rates him and has season after season given him a contract extension, and this one is all down to him. If he went to Gill and said Ryan ain't got what it takes tehre would not be an extension.
I would love him to get the goal that wins us title number 20.
United fans these days way to critical, way too expectant, way too spoilt!

If you must

Amen brother. Giggs deserves far more than he gets. I swear it's just jealousy.
I understand that, these players earn a lot of money and the thought that they aren't Messi every game must annoy people but that kind of thought process is so very primitive that I sometimes feel that my fellow supporters should take a time machine back to a time where we finished 6th and 7th a lot of the time.

Whether he plays well or not (9 times out of 10 he won't) doesn't change the fact he gotta retire.

RR - And much worse than 7th too and some very average players too !!
I blame Championship manager and football forums too

Tell me one good reason he should retire.

Because Sir Alex still believes he is good enough to start games for us. Sadly, he is mistaken.

We are a better team when Giggs and Scholes do not start games and this is an absolute fact.

They are good impact subs that can help us when we are chasing a game. However, from the start they offer nothing defensively and slow down the tempo of our play. We have seen this on many, many occasions throughout the past 18 months and I don't think there's anything wrong with saying so.

I thought Giggs was quite good

Kagawa - nobody is arguing with that regarding impact subs but with no Nani,Young ,Wellbeck,Rooney,Kagawa,Rafael what did you want him to do today ? He wanted to rest Cleverley obviously and Jones. Not much else. Fletcher has hardly pulled up any trees!

He was playing against Danny Simpson. He'll not play a worse player this year.

Andy Carrot - true but some United fans want everything. Who could he have played wide left today ? Scholes played to give Cleverley a rest. Scholes has often led Toon a merry dance and I suspect that's why he was played ahead of Fletch.
