Is not a tactician. Can't ever see him master minding wins over big teams since he plays the same way every game.
We're worst than last year, how much longer will he last?

Did anyone really expect us to go there and win when not only are there unbeaten at home in 16 odd games, they've only conceded 4 goals all season at home. Too many people have false expectations and still think we can just turn up and win

* that should have read win by simply turning up

philo, stoke played some good stuff today, played liverpool off the park and pressured everything, won most of the second balls and thoroughly deserved the win. br just didnt have any idea how to combat it.

To be fair it's not just BR who doesn't know how to combat it. They're unbeaten in last 16 games at home. Arsenal, City, Everton have only managed draws there, Newcastle lost, they've held Spurs at WHL and held us at Anfield. They have a good record against last years top 8.

I am a little worried about Rodgers. If we went down tonight but still tried to play a slick passing game true to his beliefs...then I might have just about accepted losing at Stoke. However, we were outfought, out-run, out-battled and on top of that...we were scared to pop it about. Very disppointed.
