The only positives I can take from this season so far is the fact that we have blooded a few young players and that bodes well for the future!
Other than that, there is nothing positive to take from Brendan's first 6 months in charge IMO. Our football is no better than what it was under Kenny, and we are worse off in every sense in the league table i.e. less wins, more defeats, more goals conceded etc than this time last season.
Don't mistake this for me calling for Brendan's head, I am not, just giving an honest assessment of what I have seen now we are at the half way stage of the season! I don't think anyone in their right mind can say we are making progress so far.
Luckily the window is about to open and hopefully we can make 2 - 3 quality additions and we can look forward to a better 2nd half of the season! If we finish 6th, I will be more than happy with that for this season, but we will do well to finish that high.
I do like Brendan though, and I do honestly think that long term he is the right man for our club.
Does anyone think we are making progress? If u do, back up your claim!
Progress under BR?

It again highlight how you actually have to go down easily(dive) to be awarded a penalty, despite being fouled.

I read a depressing stat the other day
If we take Liverpools last 38 league games (a full season) we would have only 43 points
just enough to stay up

Jesus Metro, not today. I can't take anymore. I command you to create a uplifting article to amend for it.

Suarez's reputation does precede him which is unfair. However he is not in spotlight these days, staying on his feet more can only help his case in the future.

Please, I don't want to hear about top four at the moment. Now all I want to hear is transfer deals for at least two attackers, with one being a central striker.

Its very hard to say what the future holds for your club, looking around everyone seems to be getting stronger and its even harder to break into the top 4. BR does have a tough job on his hands.

Absolutely.
It's a tough job that few would want to take on. Massive expectations from supporters but face tough matches every week.
Only the strong will survive.
Has to be given time, at least 3 years, maybe more.

I think 3 seasons is more than enough for him. I do think he is using what is at the club more out of desperation than choice. I cant imagine the likes of Suso or Sterling being played if BR had bought in who he wanted.
If I was a Liverpool fan I would like to see how he does in a full proper transfer window before judging him because thats where your problems have been recently and thats squandering money away.

Come on man, today is a day of mourning. I started back to work, Liverpool lost and our board here seem to think the club have folded. Not to mention the two-day hangover. Create a live thread in an obscure place for that topic.
