Lewandowski for £18 million

according to The Sun paper!

£18 million is a bit much init for a player who can leave for free at the end of season?!!! should be around the £12 million mark

if its true fergie must've wanted to seal the deal before a bidding war began

again if it's true where will this leave welbeck?

but imagine Lewandowski and Van Persie upfront! daaaamn!!!!

The thing is with lewandowski he is a great player, however is only a 20 goal a season player. Nothing overly great. I don't see why we would brin him in. If it was someone like cavani who has more or less a 1 to 1 ratio this season I could understand it but 20 mil for someone who isn't amazing and when were already well stocked is not sensible

------

He can only get better. Lewandoswki is young, a lot of time to learn and get even better. Think about it, 20 goals a season isnt bad, you add another 5 to that you have a 25 a goal season striker, not bad going at £15 million.

I wouldnt be against it if we flog a couple of strikers depending who.

Did I just read ninja wants rooney sold and keep Hernandez. Did u not see Saturday what happens when rooney doesn't play. As for not buying good players because it might stop Danny getting game time what a load of crap . If he was good enough fergie wouldn't be buying another striker. I don't think he utd quality. Can't see what all the hype about.

To be fair mate if we had a proper CM then there would be no need to have Rooney dropping off. He doesnt have the technical ability to play in CM, and we have Kagawa who looks like he would be excellent as a number 10.

Dont get me wrong I like Rooney, but if tomorrow we could have a quality CM plus Lewandowski, I would take it.

Could be Fergie losing faith in our wingers... Moving to the diamond with something like this:

-------------Carrick-----------
--Cleverley-------Rooney--
-------------Kagawa----------
------RVP------Lewandowski

Rooney and Cleverley have the energy and movement to get up and help Kagawa when we're in attack, and then to pull back and bolster Carrick's defence duties when we need it. Could work. Plus then we have Hernandez and Welbeck to both come off the bench and offer something different to the strike force.
