Nadal withdraws from the AO

Has Nadal unofficially retired from tennis?
The excuses are becoming more and more bizarre...he conveniently withdrew from an exhibition match in Abu Dhabi due to some stomach virus but is now claiming that the stomach virus hasn't allowed him to train so he will skip the AO
I didn't realise a stomach virus lasted so long that he wouldn't have time before the AO to get some match practise
I really wish he was playing cause it would be nice to see him meet Rosol again,maybe that will really send him into permanent retirement

The thing that worries me most for Nadal and his fans is that if he uses all his excuses up now,what will he use when he loses?
