Shambles!

We are a nightmare in defence and every team in the league can sense how nervous we are at the back. I have lost all faith now in our management team to sort out this mess. We have youth players who I'm sure would try harder than some of this lot so why cant we see some change? sick of seeing the same first pick players underperforming, rankin, gunning and mclean for starters. flood might give his all but is a liability and gives the ball away far too often. cost us two games with two awful penalties and yet still walked into todays side. also the balance of our squad is awful, we keep picking the same central defenders that keep letting us down, and why? because we signed a left back who couldnt manage one game for us and a midfield player who is lazy and past his best, but no cover for central defence. Houston pull your finger out or GTF!!!

Totally fed up and angry. Every week the same shocking defending, we are losing the most ridiculous goals and at home as well. I honestly would describe our defence as pub team standard (although that may be offensive to most pub teams) And Houston doesn't change it one bit. It is not good enough.
Saw an article in a paper today about our "talented" players being touted with moves away as if they are too good for United? Bar Russell and GMS these players have a lot of proving themselves to do at this club before they should even think of moving on!
Sick of hearing "What a great game that was" from pundits, to me the fact we are shipping 4 goals in games to teams like ICT and St Mirren is depressing to say the least and at home FFS!
Can't forget about pre Levein and Houston era when we were relegation fodder every season so have been reluctant to call for a new boss but enough is enough! The man is stubborn, one dimensional in his tactics and team selection and conceited in that he does not believe he can do any wrong and everything is against him (the perfect manager) Wonder what excuse he has up his sleave today... oh wait he got Heggie to do the post match interview!

Yeap, it seems to be getting worse now. Its time for me to eat humble pie I think, I have defended Houston a lot on these pages but it really does look as if don't know how to win games any more, we can't expect to come back in every game as not every defence is as weak as ours. We must get someone experienced in at the back or if Dundee get the finger out we could get dragged close to that relegation zone, St Mirren only one point behind us now.

I'm a glass half full sort of a guy, but I'm having my doubts now that we'll turn it round again this season But we've got quite a few tough games coming January and February and I now think most teams in the league see us a soft touch, and with confidence now slow right through the squad, I'm not looking forward to the next game up at Aberdeen at all.

If Houston does get the defence sorted in January and fly up the table into the euro slots I'll be gobsmacked.

I just hope our recent poor form has taken the attention away from our best players and we don't lose anyone next month.

Only ICT have scored more goals than us at home this season, that shows how poor our defence really is, we really must get this sorted out in January, get rid of Skacel and use his wages to get in an experienced defender and I think it could help salvage our season. Ross County in 11th spot are only 4 points behind us now, and our fixture list for January and February is starting to scare me Thankfully the league is quite tight, if we tighten up the slack defending and still create as much going forward and don't sell one of our young stars we could do alright.

Although we were on the wrong on of several laughable decisions by that clown of a referee today it doesn't take away the fact our shambolic defence gifted a very poor st mirren team 3 goals today 3-2 down with ten men and Houston brings on 2 midfielders sorry but I have lost all patience with his tactics and team selections enough is enough if we lose to Aberdeen he should be punted

Aberdeen (A) Kilmarnock (A) Ross County (H) Motherwell (A)
Is our fixtures in January
Rangers (H) Hearts (H) Celtic (A) Hibernian (H) ICT (H)
Is our fixtures in February

You could argue that St Johnstone and St Mirren at home have been our easiest games for the next couple of months

Cant believe Houston didn't even do the post match interview

Houston is hopeless just like 75% of our so called first team. Lacklustre lazy and sadly laughable !!!
A blind man can see we are far too cautious going forward because of our shocking defence. I never thought I'd say this in my lifetime but we actually miss Gary Kenneth for his airial dominance.
If we don't invest in a recognised CH in the window I fear bottom half is a certainty. Get shot of lazy boy Skatcel to free up funds
