Arteta slowed us down a bit much for a 6. Koscielny was maybe not helped by Sagna but he looked clumsy and got pulled away from vermaelen too often. Be fair I coulnt see what he did in the second half that well because it was the other end of the ground.

Arteta takes 8 touches on average before passing the ball backwards/sideways

Giroud was terrible when he came on, he didn't do one thing right...for Arsenal. For Southampton he was great as everytime Arsenal got the ball forward, Giroud was on hand to give them it.

At least Gervinho beat a couple of players and got a shot in.

If you put Giroud on, Toor, you have to play to his strength. He didnt get any cross with he could do anything. Its difficult when you come on and the team didnt play well. Giroud has other qualities than to play the ball on the ground. He had some bad touches agree but hardly touches the ball.
