Stephen Hendry holds the most titles with 6 to his name, winning five on the trot between 1989 and 1993. The defending champion is Neil Robertson.

Why not?

Although I must admit his semi-final against Dott didn't exactly excite me, pre or post match!

Just want to go back to what I said last night when I though I heard someone racially abuse Neil Robertson.

I've managed to find the incident when a member of the audience shouted out, and it seems he shouts "fu-ck off you boring bas-tard" towards Mark Selby.

Watch the video here, and fast forward on to 3:12:12 and listen on from there.

Wetherbyterrier - we all get it. You don't like Selby(!!!!), but if he's enough to stop you watching snooker, then you can't be much of a snooker fan.

As for O'Sullivan, there's no doubting that he's great to watch, but I'm just fed up with all the non-snooker stuff around him. Just make up your mind and get on with it.

I feel there are enough stars in snooker that whilst it would be preferable to have O'Sullivan involved, it's not essential. The game is growing globally whether O'Sullivan is part of it or not.

I agree. There is going to be a day when Ronnie retires and you just feel with the mentality some snooker fans have towards him that they won't be able to cope.

He will retire, just like every snooker player and sports star does in their career. Whether it's now, next month or in 10 years, it will happen.

Obviously people will be keeping a keen eye out on 28 February as I'm sure, knowing him, he'll leave the decision right until the last minute. He likes to keep people guessing.

It seems to be a vicious circle with him - when he is heavily involved in snooker, he moans about the attention etc and talks of retirement, but when he's away from the game I' m pretty sure he misses it and wants to be involved. At first it makes eyecatching headlines, after a while it just becomes a bit tedious.

Spend some time with a player ranked outside the top 50, who is trying his heart out and trying to make the breakthrough, and perhaps that will show Ronnie how lucky he is to have the talent he has.

I must admit his petulant behaviour annoys me at time, but there is still no doubting that he is the best player in the world, and for me the most talented to ever play the game.

I don't think you could be any more spot on there kinsang.

Is he even 40 yet? There's no reason why he can't go on and play for the next 10 years. Although I'm not sure I can be bothered with another decade of retirement threats and comebacks etc.

Selby is not the best player at all. The UK and Masters are hardly majors anymore (given the joke formats) and entering all the PTC to boost your ranking is not what makes you great. Nor is deliberately abusing the time rule.

Come the world championship (longer format), the guy will be found out.
