Just a snippett for those who may be interested - Barnsley want SoD but he is stalling until the Wolves situation becomes more clear.
Stolbakken looks to be on the brink !

I said SOD and Wolves would be the ideal partnership, but getting rid of the existing incumbent would be similar to what happened at Blackburn and the worst case which ended SOD's time at the CG.
DS has shown himself to be an excellent talent spotter; higher league experienced players can renew their careers, but surely it is progress upwards that produces the greater number of the best recruits. Syers came from 3 levels below where we are now. Keegan was not exactly from the top flight either. Some players shine whoever they are playing with, but others improve immeasurably when they link up with others with better football brains and identifying them is probably the real trick.
I must acknowledge too that DS, unlike SOD, gives newcomers more of a chance to play themselves into the team too which is what they need to develop and build confidence.
I think we have to trust him to make sound choices.

Looks like we have signed Dean Fowler. Is he Robbie's son? <smile>

Hound. I certainly agree. BUT according to the manager we are only going to sign players better than we already have. Messrs Brown Hulme and Paynetr must be really impressed. END OF NO MORE FROM ME

McGoldrick gone from Coventry so they will miss him emormously.
It could halt their charge up the table.

jay bothroyd anyone ?

That's a massive blow to Cov hound! Wish the Cov home game was postponed not the MK one as we might have had gained a result from them.
Jay Bothroyd is idle. He's had a bad attitude wherever he's gone, only done it so to speak at Cardiff and the wendies couldn't wait to get rid of him!
Striker wise I've heard rumours Jamie Vardy from Leicester former;y Fleetwood on loan.
