I may get an xbox too.
it's not the fact they're doing it, it's the principle. just trying to leech more money out of sony fans. well, I say feck them. I hope they start to record less sales if they do this.

The pirates are on both sides. That's why I tend to have little sympathy with those who go on about software piracy, especially games.

Think Microsoft were thinking about doing this before but decided against it. This would be an insane move by Sony and one that could be a real PS killer. Glad I have an Xbox!

Been a Sony loyalist for a while but if this is true, thats my next-gen console decision made for me.

Arsenes Menthol Strength, Microsoft has patented something similar that may be used in the next Xbox.
Microsoft seem to have kept a little quiet on this after a lot of fans kicked off.
Looks like we will have to wait until both consoles are shown later this year.
If one of them does tie a game to the players account I can see a number of people jumping ship to their competitors instead.
