Joins Corinthians.
Few years ago I remember him being dubbed a future world beater. He's left Europe, can he still reach his 'potential'?

I'll admit that but my God he was unbelievable at Milan. 2005-2007 he is unstoppable

oh yea he was then - but has fallen to the side of the road since then. He is only 30 dont forget and the last 4 years have been a write off for him.
Another case of what could have been much like ronaldinho - amazing for a few years, everything caught up with him then back to brazil.

I don't think Kaka was terrible in his first season but Ronaldo completely overshadowed him. Then he got injured in his second season, Özil came in and that was the end of him.
It seems to happen with all Brazilians they all seem to get seriously fat and end up looking like a championship player by the age of 30. Look at Cesar, Maicon, Fabiano etc.

still, 1 ok season isnt anything to shout about.
yea i dont know why it happens to them - anderson has the potential to do the same if he leaves united.
Speaking of fat brazilians - ronaldo has lost most of his weight since retiring, i dont understand but maybe thats just me.

Wish United signed Kaka in the summer what a squad player he would have been
Anderson is already bigger than most, I dread to think of what he is going to look like in 5 years feel a bit sorry for Fat Ronaldo. He has got a really fat neck so it doesn't matter how much weight he loses, he will always look fat

i wasnt fussed on united getting him to be honest. A luxury player who may or may not be able to hack the pace in the PL. an injury prone player, High wages on a loan? No thanks.
Yeah Anderson look quite big already - think he may just be a bit stumpy on it. But you can see he will gain weight - he is just one of those guy's.
Shame what happened to ronaldo - apparently he was on a lot of medication for his knee and the side effects of some of them where weight gain. Now he has retired he has probably stopped taking them and weight has fallen off.

Kaka has proved this season that he can still completely change a game, still decent but the high wages are a bit of a put off.
I think Ando will be back in Brazil in the Summer to be honest. This season was his last chance and all he has done is prove he is not reliable.
I didn't know that about Ronaldo, such a shame he was the best striker I have ever seen

i dont know what games you are talking about - nothing high profile but we will see if he features against us.
I think Anderson has been much better this year - would be in the team every week if fit. But the keeping fit is the problem. He has been out a month now and no sign of him coming back.
yeah shame about ronaldo - he could still be playing at a top club. if you ever get the chance listen to the world football phone in podcast. Tim Vickery lives in brazil and talks quite often about how brazilians tend to up back in brazil.
