It's just you.

The original post implies a lack of stability which has meant we haven't progressed. We've had more managers in the 16 years since Frank Clark left than in the 107 years before. There's been no stability and we've recently sacked two managers from what could be termed a position of strength. I wasn't a huge fan of Davies and however you view it SoD didn't get a fair crack of the whip. Fans just get to turn up and hand their money over. I think if fans had the chance to say "hang on I bought a season ticket to watch a SoD team now have half a season of hoofball ahead can I have my money back" chairmen may think twice about sacking some managers.

The original post asked what's changed? Well, lots of things and it seems to change every year, what doesn't change is Forest's progression or our development.

Hi Lloyd

Firstly, I hate hoofball if it is all we would have to offer.

Saying that, if it got us up to the Prem then surely we would have progressed?

Al Hawasi seem to have one goal and to score that goal very quickly. They do not want to hang about waiting.

I also agree with you about SOD but if we have to play some hoofball and it brings results then I for one will not be arguing

Lack of stability means we haven't progressed?

We were a bit lucky to stay up last season. We went on one the worst runs in our entire history and were worried about if we'd even have a club.

Now we have a talented squad, wealthy ambitious owners who will and to the squad in the window and like McLeish or not a manager that has a good record at this level and has won promotion before. I'd say that's massive progression.

We changed a manager and people have gone a bit bonkers. Managers come and go. I wouldn't have sacked SOD but I understand why he was sacked and we move on.

There's no need for half the panic and anger I'm seeing IMO. It's all very melodramitic. We're in a great position as a club. The owners have done a lot for us, made a lot good decisions. Sacking SOD was a bad one, but it's only one. It's not like SOD is some sort of super manager. He's not that good and the football wasn't that good.

AM won't have 2-3 years? Didn't your owners state they want promotion this year? Watch the managerial merry go round at your club now.......we know how it feels.
