this may be amusing, but i would suggest that man united is one club you don't want to be on the bad side of.

all the need to do is come out and say they are interested in dembele (for example, whether they are or are not) and suddenly we could have an unsettled player due to their pulling power.

Sorry Chronic but give a f uck!!!!! Why should we suck up to united like the rest of the league does? If anything this makes things better with the united situation because it means whilst Levy is in charge at spurs........no players will be sold to United now. Levy won't want to work with fergie and i'm sure fergie won't want to work with Levy either so this is only good for us. United would unsettle a player like dembele anyway regardless of our relationship with them but as a club we are different now (proven by our chelsea/Modric stance)

harry's accountant, fergie has got away with stuff like this for years mate. When the shoe is on the other foot he dosen't like it. I am the same as you in that i have had to watch fergie tap up and snatch our best players down the years but not anymore. Spurs are different now and Levy is the only person in football who has fergie tied around his little finger.

Clubs generally give each other mutual respect, as they should. The problem with Fergies ego, is that he always expects deference from others in the game, regardless of their own status.
