Any news on Ince deal?

Is this one still in negotiation?With injuries to Borini/Kelly/Enrique and Assaidi away on african nations duty and Cole being sold would have thought it would have been sorted by now or are FSG penny pinching again over a few quid?We need cover on the left side and a striker on loan.If Suarez or Sturridge get injured this month we are really going to be in bother.
Would like Diame for his buy out price,really good midfielder but probably cannot afford him.I realise mistakes have been made in the transfer market previously and that we dont have an endless pot of money but we need to continue the momentum of the past few games and try at least to push on for a top four spot or we wont attract decent players to the club.Downing and Henderson belatedly are now showing progress.FSG have also got to realise that no matter how on board Suarez is with Rodgers vision for Liverpool how long will it be before he says enoughs enough and wants to leave.Players like Sneijder for example who are on fortunes are not the type of player we can afford,but sensible investment has to be made to bring in young players or bring on players from the youth set up.I wonder how much money is outlayed for the Boston Red Sox for the upcoming baseball season for wages/trades etc compared to Liverpool Fc for transfers.Come on FSG lets go onwards and upwards and not stand still, the foundations are there now,lets build on them and not have another frustrating non progressive transfer window.
