Slowly improving Fab has more than a decent chance to get out of an average group, personally I don’t think he will but the improvement will go on and it won’t be long till he does get through.

Very good tournament for Dog last time showed a big leap in reaching the knock-outs and unlucky to lose to Tyke on golden goal, I back him to repeat that feat by going to the quarter-finals yet again. Could be a dark horse.

Pekster

Team: Cheltenham

Another well-known JA606er who has joined the tournament. Has not gave much away but has a decent team, expect it to be a learning curve.

Did well to get out of the group after a 7 – 1 thrashing by Comu last time, edging passed his opponents. He will be tough to take points off in this group but I think he will go out in the group-stages unfortunately.

Saint

Team: Dagenham

Odds: 8 – 1

Making his debut in the official tournaments is Saint, having impressed in the spin-off tournament at xmas. Very assured defensively could stand him in good stead and I tip him to negotiate through this group and on to the knock-outs, another dark horse.

Tez

Team: Chesterfield

Odds: 14 – 1

The statistically worst player returns for another bite of the cherry fresh from his first ever victory in the last tournament, against the worst player ever to have entered. Yorkshireman Tez lands a Yorkshire team, but I doubt will see any Yorkshire grit here! Expect him to pick up a point somewhere.
