I posted this on another thread and this sums up the attitude our managers have had to Sordell. It was from Redknapp. Before anyone comes on and says we will regret selling him. There are loads of players that fill that category. Let go by one club and come good. Jon Walters is one that springs to mind.

When you are in our position that's the stance you have to take with players.

It's not like if he was flying in training he is vying for a position that someone is playing superb in.

Seems like lazy journalism to me - just rembembering the story of them trying to steal him off us on deadline day in summer and putting that together with him never playing for us.
