In my honest opinion van persie has surpassed falcao, maybe the amount of goals scored may not favour my argument, but the ability of the players is something you have to look at.
Van persie coming to united has shown me other aspects of his game. The parts where he is selfless, where he will take himself out of a play, just to move a defender and make space for another player. His heading ability at set pieces, how when ever he scores he always points to the player who set him up,as a thank you.
There are parts of his game also that he has improved, his touch is amazing. He can finish with both feet, but not only that,he can score from anywhere.Inside the box,one on one, outside the box, headers, volleys. He can hold the ball up when he's isolated,he can run the channels, get others involved all the time. His dribbling has improved vastly aswel.
Most importantly though,he IS a big game, big moment player. He delivers when you need him to.He could be having a poor game, you give him one chance,he will score.Sir alex now has immense trust in rvp to deliver. This is why I rank him above falcao.
Thoughts?

this must be the best champions league knock out stage in terms of quality for a long time.

Good players Fat Ron but for me just good players, not great ones.
Arsenal may or may not beat them but I can't see them going all the way.

Looking forward to the Shakhtar/Dortmund game.
That will be awesome.

"Good players Fat Ron but for me just good players, not great ones."
So Mandzukic who played as their first choice striker whilst Gomez was the top scorer in the Bundesliga isn't a "great player"?
Bayern made it to the final last year lets not beat around the bush they dominated it and should have won
Arsenal struggle to create any chances this season nor can dominate midfields like they used to. Frankly if they leave with the margin being just 2 goals they'll have performed well.

whilst gomez was injured and became the top scorer*

Mandzukic looked okay but nothing special in the Euro's and in the Bundesliga he has been good but hardly world class.
We'll have to wait and see but if Arsenal turn up on their day then they can beat Bayern.

No they really can't they'll get annihilated you're underrating Bayern. If they had the depth they have this season they would have wiped the floor with Dortmund in the league

You're underrating Bayern massively Red Rob, they're extremely likely to win the CL this year

Fat Ron
I don't think so. They were thrashed in BATE earlier this season and aren't that different to the side that failed at home against Chelsea.
Obviously they're a dangerous team but they're far from invincible and Arsenal have the talent in their side to trouble Bayern.
