Are the bored of the board protests still going on at Derby?
They are level on points with us and talk like its all rosy!
Stop press! You have had 5 years of rubbish without a sniff of promotion, falling attendances and protests against the board.
Worry about yourselves should be the new year mantra.

"Don't kid yourlselves he wasn't the greatest manager out there - I honestly don't know hat all the fuss abot SOD is about he was mediocre at best"

That's rather unfair, in his Forest career he inspired the successful relegation fight then built a top 6 team in just 3 weeks. Inconsistency was his downfall, but injuries and suspensions didn't help. If he'd been given the whole season and the January window, I firmly believe we would have stepped it up.

Let's also remember that with Doncaster he built a team for peanuts that was better than our moneybags squad back in the L1 days.

strett:

We didn't have to rely on a hundred million bail-out/write-off for our club to survive. Having seen your club close to going under, you want your new sugar-daddies to throw more millions into the club.

Short memories - probably for the best. Here's a bit of advice - invest in Deep Heat. There'll be a lot of stiff necks in Nottingham for a few weeks until the next manager comes in.

I shall be doing one of my now famous Rough guides; the main theme being the acceptance of mediocrity in Derby.
I know you cannot wait. At least your poster of the year 666, has not gone back on his principles after a few reasonable results!

OEE - ND certainly ploughed a lot of money into the club. The last available accounts for 2011 should a debt of just over £74 million built up over 12/13 years. The figures for 2012 are not available so the £100 million is suppostion but may be correct. Strangely the DCFC accounts for 2011 GSE's 3rd(?) year in office show a debt of just over £42 million. Teapot and kettle come to mind.

It is really funny that 2 months ago there were protests against the board. How can they all accept mediocrity so easily in Derby? I know they are the worst team in history, but they should expect better than being above us, a club in turmoil apparently, by 1 goal!
666 is the only poster with principles!

Stan..so the muttons are in debt for £42million?
Looks like their little wonder lambs will all be going to the highest bidder then..especially as they are losing fans by the thousands.

That's right Redrebel. Just over £25 million repayable within 12 months and £17 million repayable over 12 months (including £15 million mortgage on the ground). So in spite of all the cost cutting they are racking up debt quicker than we ever did.
