Thank You for your services to Pakistan cricket in One Day Internationals. Concentrate on Tests and please hand the captaincy reigns over to Mohammad Hafeez. Much appreciated.
And, Misbah, please can you take Umar Akmal with you. Nearly 4 years and the twaat still has not learned.
Goodbye Misbah...

Did Misbah annoy you today Adot?

Well I did say before in a good way that Misbah should actually give up the captaincy. And, I actually mean it when I say he's done a really good job, regardless of what people think of his playing style. I rather be in this position then the one in 2010.
But, what I didn't like about today, not the fact that, Misbah and Umar ate up balls, but the manner in which they got out...Had them two stayed till the end we would've won...Misbah would've probably got a 50 off 100 balls, but we would've won. Both of them got out in stupid manners, that then put pressure on the others who completley buckled which resulted in us losing.
At least we won though. 2-1

Yeah Misbah has definately done an outstanding job since he got the captaincy. Maybe he should give up the captaincy of ODI's. I don't know tbh.
I don't think Misbah realised there was a leg slip
Umar Akmal
I can't believe one of Wahab/Anwar Ali didn't play.

I understand the Wahab/Anwar Ali situation, but I think because the bowlers had bowled so well they didn't want to change. And they continued that today. I for one think they made the right decison their because it, makes compeition, now it's a case of you mess up and you've got players who have something to prove waiting for you...

Classless India today, take note how pak celebrated their two wins compared to how India celebrated their dead rubber win, I though for a second they had retained the WC

Fully agree that Misbah needs to retire. We also need a new wicketkeeper batsman. I'm sure Shafiq was meant to be a backup keeper. We need to drop goofy cos he's been shocking.
As for Umar Akmal, I think he fell victim of the Misbah bat slow bug.

"As for Umar Akmal, I think he fell victim of the Misbah bat slow bug."
People need to remember it was not the slowness of the batting that cost us, it's the pure fact that we lost all our wickets.
Pakistan always go for the approach, build partnerships, attack towards the end, regardless of whether they are batting first or second.
The problem for me was the manner of which they both got out. If one of them stayed we would've won. And, as for Umar, he still is not learning, he fell victim to nothing. In 2011 he was dropped from the Test squad after constantly getting out in a stupid manners... Either Pakistan promote this numpty to four or three to see what he's made of, or tell him to take a break.

Kamran had a poor tour with the bat, but made up for it with the keeping. He made some very good stops, 2-3 stumpings, took his catches, one of which was a belter.
Get him in the Test side he said once upon a time.

Misbah wouldn't get a better opportunity then this for retiring at a good note. No doubt yesterday's loss was all his fault whether author agrees or not, still he just had a series win against India in India. Now this will give people other reasons of remembering him then Mohali, UAE and now Dehli heroics of his.
And above all the team will be benefited by playing a batsman who is not as idiot as him.
As for Umar Akmal, no matter how many arguments you give that he just loses his wicket, has attitude issues or whatever, just replace him with a better player if you can. Or in other words had we got a better option we would have dropped him years back. But the issue is you drop him bring in someone else then realize Umar Akmal is better then this atleast and hence he keeps coming back in the team. He has the talent nobody can argue on that but needs to treated in a way that the talent begins to materialize into performances as well.

Umar Akmal is abit if a loose cannon and does have a head rush at times. However, in most cases than not, playing a player like him at 6 is counter productive. He's needs to come in at 4 and be given 2/3 series to prove his worth.
Misbah needs to go. This is the third time he's handed in to the Indians. His first can be excused, his second was bad and yesterday even worse. I don't think he gets it though.
