When I say 'you', I'm talking about Liverpool fans, as your posts were directed at Chelsea fans as a whole. You accused Chelsea fans of slagging off their own; you said that Chelsea fans are unique in that respect, implying that Liverpool fans do nothing of the sort. You've been proven wrong. If anything, it's been demonstrated that Liverpool fans 'slag off' their players way more than Chelsea fans do. I think that about settles it, right? You certainly seem to have dropped the line that Chelsea fans are the only ones who criticize their own and that Liverpool fans don't do that.

All the players that you said have been criticized by Chelsea fans have had fervent defenders. Torres, through consistently sucking, has very few at this point, if you're referring to him specifically. As you look over posts from the past, you'll find plenty of people defending him.

Ah, I see - this is about banners, rather than the principle of criticizing your own. I certainly didn't hear any Liverpool fan saying Hodgson was in over his head before he even had his first game, right?

Oh, and to respond to your post, yes there have been people in this gold fish bowl of an internet site that have done the things you said. I've also seen fierce defense in equal measure which I do not see on yours. What I did not see was Hodgson out banners in his first game.
